Agility’s office in Brazil completes first CSR project in South America

When computer problems struck a public school in Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, the municipality told school administrators it would take a month to process their request for technical support. Fortunately, Agility employees in the Rio de Janeiro office were already collecting donations for Escola Municipalizada CIEP 338 Célia Rabelo as the first CSR project in South America. They showed up a mere week later with two computers as well as ten boxes of school supplies.

The school, which offers kindergarten, primary, and secondary classes to 603 students, welcomed the Agility team and their much-needed contribution with songs and dances from the kindergarten class.

"This was the first CSR project handled by the Rio de Janeiro office," said Carmen Schröder, General Manager, Agility Brazil. "It has given all of us the opportunity to feel a mixture of emotions, which I believe a single word cannot express, but they include love, care, happiness and pride.”
