Agility Indonesia’s CSR team motivated employees across the country to participate in different Earth Day activities. In Jakarta, 50 Agility employees organized an environmental cleanup of the pedestrian walkway leading into Agility’s Jakarta head office. In addition, garbage carts were donated to the neighborhood to encourage cleanliness. In Medan, Agility employees participated in a local beach cleanup. Family and friends joined in and spent the day cleaning the shore. The Agility Yogyakarta and Solo branches combined their activities and organized a tree-planting event on Mount Merapi, which not long ago endured a major volcanic eruption. In total 150 trees were planted in an attempt to reduce erosion. Agility’s Balikpapan branch also organized a tree-planting event. The Indonesia team also procured 1,000 recycled bags that were distributed to employees.
