The ceremony was attended by leading shippers, logistics and shipping executives from around the country. The AFSCAs are organized by Cargonews Asia and are very highly prized in the industry as only shippers can vote for logistics service providers.

Agility was nominated for fulfilling all the criteria set by the AFSCA organizing committee for the BestGreen Service Provider. This included compliance with green freight trans-port regulations set by national and global bodies and consistent application of these environmental standards. Voters were also asked to consider the company‘s‘investment in green initiatives, technology and action plans and ongoing training of staff in green initiatives and in measures to lower company carbon footprints.
