Agility retreads 4020 tires a year

Agility was the first major fleet operator in Kuwait to start retreading tires on a large scale, rather than dumping tires in a landfill once the minimum tread depth has been reached. Whereas one new truck tired requires up to  83 litres of oil to manufacture, a retread only requires around 27 litres of oil.  In 2009, Agility processed a total of 4,020 tires through the retreading route and saved 220,000 litres of oil. Every retread tire also means one less new tire used, - with no sacrifice to safety.
