Elementary School Renovation in Indonesia

Agility employees in Indonesia decided to take action when they saw the poor conditions at a local public elementary school, Palasari 3. The school serves 167 students from grades one through six and was in dire need of rejuvenation.

Fifteen employees worked to deliver a personal computer and printer, 25 table and chair sets, and 167 student bags. Most significantly, the team renovated the children’s restroom and fixed broken windows and doors throughout the school.

One of the volunteers stated, “We felt it was our duty to provide a good educational environment and to acknowledge the teachers in the suburb area; we really appreciate their effort to help those children to reach their future dreams and receive a good education.” The volunteers are happy knowing that the computer and printer will allow the teacher to prepare reports and assist in lesson preparation, and the school supplies will help students study and work more efficiently.
