Corporate Social Responsibility
Global Education Drive 2009 
 
 

In 2009, Agility offices worldwide, partnered with local schools and non-governmental educational organizations in support of Agility’s Global Education Drive.


The Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, London, Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver offices in Canada collected 153 backpacks for underprivileged children in local schools.

 
In the United States, the Los Angeles and Santa Ana*, CA,  offices partnered with Share Our Shelves to collected 33 backpacks and over 4,000 school supplies for underprivileged children in Orange County.  Employees at the Agility DGS office in Alexandria donated over 80 books to the Everybody Wins! DC organization that were distributed to students at a local school in Arlington, VA.  

 
At the Agility Jamaica, NY, office, employees collected 10 backpacks and a large box of school supplies for the Nassau-Suffolk Coalition for the Homeless.  The items collected benefited Long Island’s homeless and at risk children.

 
Twenty employees from the Dubai, UAE office partnered with orphans from a local charity for a painting competition. All the children were treated to a party and went away with giveaways from the Agility team. Agility Dubai employees also raised funds to put seven children back in school as part of the charity’s Education of Orphans program. 

 
As a part of its ongoing partnership with INJAZ – Kuwait, the Agility office in the country introduced basic entrepreneurial skills by giving students an opportunity to create and run their own companies. Agility employees spent time mentoring and guiding these students in their various projects.
