Agility recently completed a successful roll out of its Middle East regional campaign to promote worker empowerment. Over 1,500 employees across Agility operations in Kuwait, UAE (Dubai and Abu Dhabi), Bahrain, and Lebanon were trained in the company's labor standards and grievance reporting system. The training covers such topics as discrimination; harassment; protection for complainants; personal data confidentiality; forced labor; and work hours and wages.
To facilitate better understanding of the Agility labor policy among the laborers and warehousemen that attended the training, the training sessions were also conducted in Arabic, English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tagalog and Urdu.
