As a result of the ongoing famine in the Horn of Africa more than 11 million people are in desperate need of food and other vital assistance. The World Food Programme (WFP), an Agility partner in the field of humanitarian relief, is providing critical aid to millions in the region. The organization is in urgent need resources to expand its emergency relief operation and Agility has stepped up to assist its efforts. Agility employees worldwide raised and donated funds that will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the company. As a part of the Logistics Emergency Teams (LET), Agility is also donating logistics services that included warehousing and transportation to assist the WFP in responding to this crisis.
