Jim Fredholm is Chief Financial Officer of Global Integrated Logistics (GIL), based in the divisional headquarters situated in Baar, Switzerland. He is a member of the GIL management board and is responsible for leading the global finance function across both the corporate and operational finance areas. Mr. Fredholm joined GIL in August 2007.
Upon graduating college, Mr. Fredholm worked at Ernst and Young as an auditor and obtained his CPA qualification in the US. Since then, he has worked in the technology, FMCG and business service industries with several large global enterprises including Grand Metropolitan (UK), Danzas/DHL (CH) and Adecco Staffing (CH) in a range of corporate and operational finance roles. In 1997, he became Danzas Group CFO and in 2004 went on to become Group CFO of Adecco.
Mr. Fredholm earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance (with honors) from the University of Texas.
Mr. Fredholm was born in the United States and lived 10 years in the United Kingdom prior to moving to his current residency in Switzerland. He is married to a German national and has three children, ages 13, 13 and 10. His hobbies include golf, motorcycling and music.
