Agility offer a number of Safety Management training courses in two formats:
- Open courses designed for individual delegates to attend from different companies with no more than 12 delegates on each course. The dates of open courses are scheduled across the year; please use the contact options below to request the latest schedule of training courses.
- Dedicated courses are designed to be held at your premises for up to 12 delegates. These courses are more cost effective when there is a requirement to train a larger group of delegates (three or more). Dedicated courses are arranged at a location, date and time to meet your specific requirements.

Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor
This 5 day training course prepares candidates for the DGSA (Road) examinations, which are set by approved qualifications authorities at regular intervals across the year.
The training package delivers comprehensive instruction on all aspects of the DGSA syllabus for road transport, covering three papers; Core, Road and All Classes.
Prior to the course a simple ADR agreement familiarization exercise will be sent to all delegates.
A course handbook is provided for all delegates together with a workbook containing exercises covering all aspects of the syllabus.
The tutor will include regular knowledge checks throughout the course including a final mock examination and debrief session at the end of the week.
Results for first time 2009 exam passes is 85%.
Dangerous Goods General Awareness
All transport modal regulations in Europe place a requirement on personnel whose duties concern the carriage of dangerous goods to be trained to general awareness level. The training has to be appropriate to their responsibilities and duties. This training requirement is placed upon consignors, carriers, consignees, loaders, unloaders, packers, fillers and tank container operators. Also included are freight forwarders and shipping agencies (ADR 1.3.1 and 8.2.3).
Agility have designed this training course to meet the needs of personnel concerned with the carriage of dangerous goods. The scope of the General Awareness Course includes: Regulation and Training, Classification, Hazards, Dangerous Goods List, Consignment, Documentation, Carriage, Incidents, Security and Safety issues. The course is of 7 hours duration and includes all course material.
Roadside Enforcement
This 5 day training course is aimed at enforcement personnel who have the responsibility for checking compliance of vehicles moving by road and also covers the elements needed for those who require prohibition powers.
The roadside enforcement training programme covers: Modes of Carriage, Exemptions, Health & Safety, Vehicle Marking & Labelling for GB & International Journeys, Driver training, Tank Testing & Data Plates, and Fire Extinguishers, Documentation, Miscellaneous Requirements and Packaged Goods.
A course handbook will be provided for all delegates. All course material is included in the course cost.
