Corporate Citizenship
We have a responsibility that extends beyond our commercial operations. We are a worldwide network that is able to partner with our local communities. Our contributions ensure the growth of our people, our business, and the future.

Staff-Led Social Entrepreneurship Program
We have more than 130 nationalities represented on our staff rosters. Often, our people have a personal interest in giving back to the communities in which they were raised or work. When they come to us with social service projects, we encourage these efforts through grants and organizational development and assistance.

Humanitarian and Emergency Logistics Program (HELP)
We have created the Humanitarian and Emergency Logistics Program (HELP), to bring our expertise in expeditionary logistics in challenging environments to where it is most needed - disaster preparedness and response. Under the auspices of the World Economic Forum, Agility is collaborating with other private sector companies to operationalize logistics emergency teams that can be deployed in disaster situations at the request of the humanitarian community to help minimize logistics bottlenecks. We also help train disaster responders in humanitarian logistics.

Global presence brings global responsibilities. As we grow as a company, particularly in emerging markets, we can see for ourselves that the scourge of poverty, disease and disasters affects us all. No one can afford to ignore these problems - and in fact, we as Agility are in a unique position to help.

We have an existing structural network on the ground in many of the regions of the world in which disasters strike, we have expeditionary logistics capacity, and we have a genuine commitment to assisting the humanitarian community. Moreover, we have past experience in this field as an enterprise. Together, we have supported peacekeeping operations in countries ranging from Burundi to Liberia, trucked supplies for earthquake victims in Pakistan and cleared freight for humanitarian organizations in the aftermath of tsunamis and earthquakes in Indonesia. We have supported USAID projects in Afghanistan, moved fuel for humanitarian operations in Iraq, and transported relief supplies to displaced populations in Lebanon.

Moving forward, the challenge will be to focus and institutionalize this effort across the global network. Our vision is to use our strength as a company and our expertise in contingency logistics operations to assist in humanitarian projects, particularly in terms of operational readiness and response to emergencies.
