Agility announced today that it was part of a winning bid to supply armored-recovery vehicles and services at the Iraq Army Taji National Depot for the U.S. Defense Department’s Counter-NarcoTerrorism Technology Program Office (CNTPO).
CNTPO provides technology to defense and civilian agencies and partner nations engaged in counter-narcotics and counter-narcoterrorism operations throughout the world, including Iraq.
The contract duration is one-year where Agility’s portion is $18.3 million.
The contract entails procuring 26 armored-recovery vehicles and spare parts manufactured in Eastern Europe and deliver these to the Taji National Depot, Iraq. The vehicles have the ability to tow other armored vehicles that have been damaged in combat zones, enabling the safe recovery of vehicles and military personnel.
This win demonstrates Agility’s ability to carry out difficult supply chain and procurement challenges in high risk environments, and is in line with Agility’s defense and government services’ long term goal which entails expanding and diversifying its range of services, allowing it to become the logistics leader meeting the specialized requirements of global defense and government customers.
