Agility Wins Defense Fuels Contract for Guam

Please be informed that Tri-star Terminals LLC; a subsidiary of Agility owned at 90%, has won a U.S. Defense Energy Support Center (DESC) contract to handle storage and distribution of more than 1.2 million barrels of jet fuel for the Pacific and Far East. The DESC contract is worth an estimated $32 million over five base years with no option years.

The joint venture recently purchased the Guam Agat Fuel Terminal and will manage and operate the bulk fuel storage facilities there. The Agat terminal stores and ships aviation fuel for the U.S. government and provides bulk fuel services to commercial customers on Guam.

This is Agility’s first Contractor Owned Contractor Operated (COCO) fuels contract. This contract award further demonstrates DESC’s confidence in Agility’s global capabilities and its ability to offer innovative energy solutions .The excess existing bulk fuel storage capacity that Agility added through its acquisition of Guam Agat Fuel Terminal will help it provide additional fuel services to DESC.
