Basel, Switzerland: Global Logistics provider Agility has further fortified its own network in Eastern Europe by originating a new fully owned operating entity in Ukraine.

Agility announces the opening of a fully owned operating entity in Ukraine effective 31st March 2009. The new office replaces the Agility’s previous JV partner for Ukraine - GeoLogistics Ukraine Limited.

Ukraine is situated strategically at the crossroads of East-West and North-South trade routes and offers enormous potential for growth given its extensive transport infrastructure and its position as an ideal platform for manufacturing and exporting both to Russia and the EU. The country head office is located in Kiev, the country’s capital and main business hub.
