05 December 2011

HONG KONG - Agility, a leading global logistics provider, has received the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) Trucking Security Requirement (TSR) Classification 1 (2008) certification for its trucking operations in Hong Kong. The certification process involved inspections and quality benchmarking of a broad range of operations to ensure security is at internationally recognized levels.

“The TAPA certification means that our customers have the peace of mind knowing our trucking operations and associated logistics facilities in Hong Kong are operating to the highest international standards,” said Chris Pollard, Agility Chief Operating Officer, International Integrated Logistics, Greater China.

The two-year certificate will enable Agility to provide logistics services for customers with valuable and sensitive shipments that require a high-level of security.

“A secure supply chain is a key requirement for many of our customers and we are constantly upgrading our systems, monitoring our performance levels and looking for ways to improve our processes,” added Pollard.
