Basel, Switzerland - Agility Italy, leading provider of global integrated logistics, is certified AEOF “Authorized Economic Operator (Full)”. The accreditation of the AEOF status is associated with comprehensive requirements about reliability, financial stability, legal regulations and security provisions.
The “Full” AEO certification is the highest recognition, combining the customs certification (AEOC) and the security certification (AEOS).
The “AEO / Customs” status was recognized after an ad hoc audit of Agility operations in Italy by the Agenzia delle Dogane, the customs authorities in Italy, giving evidence that customs obligations were fulfilled, accounting criteria were met and financial solvency was proved. In addition, Agility demonstrated compliance with appropriate safety and security rules in order to receive “AEO / Security” status.
The AEOF accreditation offers many advantages to Agility clients: simplified customs procedures and security processes, resulting in faster movements and fewer inspections of incoming and outgoing goods. With the new Agility status customers will also profit from operational benefits. “It is of immense importance for Agility to be able to offer global standards to our customers in every market in which we are active” says Domenico Tafuro, CEO Italy.
