Agility, a leader in global logistics, recently organized a Personal Branding workshop for over 100 students from the Kuwait Architecture Student Association (KASA) at the Kuwait University. The workshop introduced students and recent graduates to the work marketplace and the basics of preparing resumes and giving interviews.

The lecturer Hagop Emrazian, Agility’s Middle East and Africa Regional Learning and Development Director said, “Due to the continued changes and challenges that the current job markets present, ‘Personal Branding’ plays a key role in securing employment opportunities. Being aware of your key strengths and having the appetite to grow and improve are your first steps towards presenting yourself professionally and leaving that impactful impression with the people in the business world. This workshop encourages the students to focus on their potential as well”

Samer Mohammed, from KASA highlighted: “The architecture department, does not focus on interior allocation of rooms or creating pleasing aesthetics, we are a school of thought that do in-depth creating spatial relations and the behaviour of the inhabitant of the space, we design for the people, so we need to present ourselves in an image acceptable by all. We believe that this workshop by Agility has provided a new insight to the way we think and present ourselves.”
