HONG KONG - Agility, a leading global logistics provider, collected the prestigious “Logistics Award” at the recent Lloyd’s List Asia awards ceremony in Hong Kong. The event took place in front of 400 leading shipping and logistics professionals at the Grand Hyatt Ballroom.

Collecting the award, Morten Damgaard, Agility’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Asia Pacific said, “We are thrilled to have received this award for the fourth year in-a-row. We would like to thank Lloyd’s List and the judges for recognizing Agility in this highly competitive category. The award judges included academic and industry leaders from across the Asia Pacific region -- including Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Philippines. The judges noted Agility’s strong presence in the emerging markets of South East Asia with a special mention of the company’s cross border logistics solutions.

Readers of Lloyd’s List, one of the world's oldest continuously-running journals, selected a short list of finalists before an eminent judging panel reviewed submissions and announced Agility as the 2011 winner.
