Agility today announced that its subsidiary, GCC Services, has been awarded two Dining Facility (DFAC) contracts by the Économat des Armées (EDA) in Chad. The contract consists of a 9 month base period, plus 3 month optional periods up to 3 years, representing a potential value of USD $174 million over the total term of service.
Under the terms of the agreement GCC Services will construct, equip and power two DFACs in Abéché and N'Djamena; preparing and serving three hot and cold meals per day. The DFAC contracts will support up to 2,600 European service members - with French military comprising the most significant number - assigned to European Union Force Chad/CAR.
