PWC Logistics Wins Two Top IDGA Military Logistics Awards

Alexandria, VA: PWC Logistics was awarded the ‘Best Industry Leader in Military Logistics’ by the Institute for Defense and Government Advancement their 2006 Military Logistics Summit. Toby Switzer, Chief Executive Officer and President of PWC Logistics Services, K.S.C., Defense and Government Services International, also received top honors as the IDGA “Logistician of the Year.”

 

IDGA’s Military Logistics Awards annually honor the top logistics innovators supporting military operations. The “Best Industry Leader in Military Logistics” award is given to a military contractor with tested innovations in crafting public private partnerships. PWC Logistics received two out of the four awards announced.

Dan Mongeon, USA (Ret.), President of PWC Logistics Services, Inc., Defense and Government Services United States.  “To achieve not only accolades for PWC Logistics as a company, but also top honors to Toby Switzer as the ‘Logistician of the Year’ speaks for the high standard and quality of people we have on our team.”

 

PWC Logistics is a top defense and government logistics provider and was recently part of the winning team for the US Navy’s global services contract, which also tapped the company’s global logistics services and rapid response capabilities. Award winner Switzer, manages PWC Logistics’ five year Subsistence Prime Vendor contract for the provision of food and related items to the US Military. Other Department of Defense work by PWC Logistics includes the five-year US Army Heavy-Lift contract awarded in 2005.
