PWC Logistics appoints new CEO for European region

Orange County, California: In its continued efforts to expand and develop its global logistics and supply chain services, PWC Logistics has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer for the European region. Beat Simon joins their Global Integrated Logistics team to lead the European operations for all of PWC Logistics products and services. The majority of PWC Logistics’ European business operates under the GeoLogistics and Natural brand name.

 

Beat is a Swiss national whose career has focused on freight management in very diverse international environments. He joins PWC Logistics from the Panalpina Group where he has worked in Europe, North America and Latin America and most recently served as CEO for Latin America. He has also served as a member of their Executive Board.  Prior to joining the Panalpina Group, Beat worked with the DANZAS Group for 18 years in a number of capacities and different countries, including Country Manager for Columbia and Brazil.

 

Beat has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and earned a Certificate of Studies from the Institute of Top Management from University de la Sabana, Chia, Colombia. He is a graduate of the School of Commerce in Basel, Switzerland.
