Agility Awarded New Contract for the Subsistence Prime Vendor Contract

Kuwait - Agility Defense & Government Services (DGS) today announced that it has been awarded a new contract by the US Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for the Subsistence Prime Vendor program associated with the supply and distribution of food and non-food products to US forces in Iraq and Kuwait.  The Prime Vendor program will leverage Agility's extensive logistics platform globally and in particular its extensive infrastructure in the USA, Kuwait, Jordan, Turkey, and Iraq.

 

The new contract begins on June 3, 2008 and extends the contract performance period through June 2, 2009.  The total maximum value for the one year contract extension period is $US 2.8 Billion.  The contracting authority for this Prime Vendor award is Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP).
